Play.com UK has begun taking pre-orders for HP’s upcoming webOS-powered smartphone, the Palm Pre 3. The handset retails for 349.99 GBP (about $565) SIM free and will begin shipping from July 8th. In case you didn’t know, the Palm Pre 3 offers a 3.58-inch 480 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz processor, a 512MB RAM, a 16GB of storage, a 5.0-megapixel camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 720p HD video recording capabilities, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1230mAh battery and runs on webOS 2.2.
The Motorola Pro will be released in the UK sometime in mid-July 2011. This candybar smartphone has a 3.1-inch (320×480) capacitive touchscreen, a full physical QWERTY keyboard underneath that screen, a 1GHz TI processor, a 5MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash and 480p video recording, an 8GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1420mAh battery. The Orange Barcelona will be released in the UK market very soon. Measuring at just 9.9mm thick, the handset features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.6-inch landscape touchscreen display, the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, HSDPA, GPS, Orange Maps, a 3.5mm headset jack, HD Voice, an FM radio and a 3.2MP camera. Orange will offer the Barcelona for free on selected monthly plans.
