T-Mobile has officially confirmed the availability of the Samsung Exhibit 4G. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the smartphone features a 1GHz processor, a rear 3-megapixel camera and a front-facing VGA camera for video chatting purposes. The Samsung Exhibit 4G also supports T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network (21Mbps download speeds). Unfortunately, there is no official info on pricing at this moment. Word has it that the Samsung Exhibit 4G will retail for less than $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract. We will keep you posted.

Nokia E6 And X7 Symbian-based Smartphones

The first Nokia phones featuring Symbian Anna, the Nokia E6 and X7, are now shipping. The Nokia E6 is the only Symbian candybar to have a touchscreen display (2.46-inch, 640 x 480 pixels) and a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone also supports HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a free navigation, an 8MP digital camera with 720p video recording and an 8GB of on-board memory. The Nokia X7 comes equipped with a 4-inch AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording. It also has a full on-screen QWERTY keyboard and three customizable home screens in a smooth and curved metal design. The X7 will be available in Europe, Eurasia, China, India and other Asia/Pacific countries, while the E6 will be available in Europe, Eurasia, Asia/Pacific, as well as the Middle East and Africa.

Motorola Titanium Android Smartphones

Motorola and Sprint have just announced that they are launching two new Android smartphones, the Motorola XRPT and the Motorola Titanium, one is designed for business users, whilst the other is designed to be a rugged Android device.

The Motorola XRPT features enterprise class security, with 256-bit AES data encription, plus enterprise controlled security, including remote wipe, and password recovery.
The XRPT features a 3.1 inch HVGA display, with a QWERTY keyboard, a 1GHz processor, and it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, it will be available in June for $129.
The Motorola Titanium, is designed to be a rugged Android smartphone, it features a 3.1 inch touchscreen display, and will come with Android 2.1, it meets military specifications for dust, shock, vibration etc, there are no details on pricing for the Titanium as yet.
